REVOLUTION AND THE INTERNET IN THE WORLD FROM WRITE

By Eduardo Garcia Aguilar
world
rebels, who spent decades depressed after the triumph of the Iron Lady Margaret Thatcher, Ronald Reagan and both George Bush can not believe, at the start of the second decade of the century, the internet would become the new weapon wonderful revolutions throughout the world against the tyrannies of left and right.
In Iran, dominated by the ayatollahs and the lapping atomic Ahmajinedad Mahmud, internet enabled an insurgency that did not win, but was an early wake-up call and left the hope that eventually the religious leaders of the Shiite theocracy, puffed at Western power, fall into the beautiful and rich land overlooking ancient iron cassock.
In China, where Communist leaders were able to invent an even more savage capitalism, the capitalists and dreamed up by ideologues like Milton Friedman, the Internet and google have become the secret weapon for a popular rebellion that burns in the vast empire vibrant yellow. There is labor foremen militarized regime swollen million, while applying the cadences more frightening than the world has ever known capitalist, making poverty wages blush greedy multinational industrial world and seems to return to the times British Industrial Revolution as well described by Charles Dickens in Oliver Twist.
This 2011 has begun with a spectacular revolution Arab countries of northern Africa, where installed satraps for decades begin to tremble, while the popular uprising spreads like wildfire through the villages and oases of control, to the surprise of Western leaders complicit. Tunisia
gave the first example to overthrow the kleptocracy of Ben Ali thanks to the Revolution of jasmine and now in the streets of Egyptian cities such as Alexandria and Cairo, the experiment is repeated, with stagger Hosni Mubarak after thirty years of scheme and who dreams of putting his son as successor to the throne.
By late and insufficient, the octogenarian leader of the Egyptian mummy, with his hair dyed as Millionaire Ben Ali and many who do cosmetic surgery to look younger, out of his coffin to make the promises that politicians always do: to end poverty and provide employment and freedom to hambrieno people descended from the pharaohs.
But this Saturday, despite promises of Rais, have again hit the streets, managing to bypass the blocking of internet and mobile phones across the country. In unison, from every home, as in Tunisia, young and old, women and men, come together overwhelmed and tired of so many years of humiliation and empty promises, of such submission ancestral inoculated by religion medieval desert created to protect the sheiks, imams, princes, caliphs and a whole series of oligarchs who have mastered thanks to the terror of the secret police and stoning, hangings, beheadings and torture of dissidents.
tyrants tremble now led by Moroccan King Mohammed and his court of millionaires and the abusive Mohamed Gaddafi in Libya, as well as leaders suffered Algeria, where the boiler of the revolution awaits the moment to jump into the lonely and precarious corners of a country held in the nothingness of silence. All this we owe in part and thankfully the internet boom that reaches the world's humblest neighborhoods, where young people play old computers while communicating and access to information previously controlled by tyrants or religious leaders.
In India, China, Africa, Latin America, the Caucasian and Baltic countries, in all third world countries, the Internet is a window on the other. Ever, in the squalid slums of Calcutta and Varanasi, I saw those little websites where for pennies you can connect with the world as they move through the streets of the sacred cows and monkeys. The same is true in Latin America and Africa.
Youth Third World, even the poorest, have adopted the web as a weapon. The dominant, gain access to it, the handle to the astonished gaze wise grandparents, presidents for life, infallible leaders, presidents ubérrimos, heroic commanders, ayatollahs, imams, raises Egyptian sheikhs of Saudi Arabia, general secretary of Communist parties. And even Fidel and Raul Castro, the brothers gerontocrat dominating Cuba half a century, have been able to control the Internet to stop for the voice of the dissidents on the island.
fail or are not as unpublished Arab rebellions and healthy, this is a new phenomenon that has come to resurrect until recently hated and archaic word Revolution, believed buried forever and finally returns cyclically since the days of Spartacus and commoners as a threat to the authoritarian who wish to stay in power and swim in waves of weakness, ignorance and poverty to perpetuate itself on its people and rich at their expense.

main gods: divine triad of Heliopolis

OSIRIS

is the firstborn of the gods Geb and Nut, Earth and Sky. It is the Lord of the Dead, a title won because of the legend of his death at the hands of his brother Seth, who scattered his body in 14 pieces all over Egypt. Isis, his sister and wife, sought him untiringly and found all the pieces except his penis, he rebuilt with the help of the god Thoth and returned to life with the help of Anubis to breed her son Horus.

Osiris in life was a great king, beloved by all, kind and fair. His appearance as Lord of the Dead was so important that God came to replace Anubis Judgement in the Ritual of Souls. Under this aspect was worshiped in Abydos. In earlier times agriculture was considered a god and his cult remained in places like Busiris, where he was revered as God's wheat. In fact, Osiris is said to be who taught humanity the profession of agriculture. For its qualities as God of fertility, vegetation and grain and for having returned from the dead, the Greeks compared to their deity Dionysus.

Osiris in the underworld was the divine representative of the Pharaoh. He represented the crown mummified Lower and Upper Egypt and hands crossed on his chest, bearing the divine scepter and flail, symbols of power and authority.

His magical powers are used for regeneration, to regain hope and enthusiasm. To start again after a loss. But also for the male fertility rituals and to initiate any noble purpose.

ISIS

is the Divine Feminine Principle in Egypt, the Mother Goddess of the ancient Egyptians. His title of Mother Goddess exceeded the Egyptian borders to the Mediterranean and Europe. His cult was so popular that transcended even the fall of the Roman Empire. Its most emblematic temple was on the island of Philae in Aswan, on the border with the present Nubia. Its name means "Earth yielding seed," or the "seat" or "throne." A throne is precisely the emblem of his headdress, because she is the seat on which Pharaoh rests. Also known as the Goddess of Ten Thousand Names, and was extrapolated to Christianity as the Virgin Mary.

His temple in the city of Sais made the famous statement: "I, Isis, am all that has been, is or will be, no mortal man has ever lifted my veil."

was known in antiquity as Weret Hekau , the Great Magician, a name that clearly indicates some of their most important, according to the myth she got for having set a trap to the Great Sun God Re, the She put a snake created with his saliva to the Sun God This mischievous, dying believing sought help from Isis, who before curing asked in return, knowing his secret name. Ra gave it reluctantly and that is how the Goddess becomes the Great of Magic, because to get the secret name of the Sun God, succeeded at the same time, the essence of its power.

His parents are Geb and Nut, Earth and Sky. Sometimes, as has also touched the horns of a cow, because this animal is often one of their symbols. Often, it is carrying in one hand Ank Cross, symbol of immortality and in the other hand, a scepter with lotus flowers as a symbol of his authority. In some of his performances as Goddess protective Isis holds the bird's wings Kite, another of his iconic animals.

lunar Goddess, Apuleius describes it "with a crown and shining white light, and the moon in the middle of the forehead." It is one of the four protective goddesses of the dead, along with her sister Nephtys, and Goddesses Serkhet and Neith. His magical powers to protect the couple in marriage, and so make the commitment to loving permanent. Protects pregnant women and their unborn children. Goddess is a healer and protector, and encourages its devotees in the development of their spirituality and psychic powers.

HORUS

is a deity of a complex nature. Originally he was venerated as a God of Heaven, represented with a falcon head, symbolizing that which is by far (in resemblance to the God Apollo Greek cosmogony), the omnipresence and vision of all, all these qualities associated with flying high and the sharpness of vision of the hawk. He is depicted wearing the double tiara of Lower and Upper Egypt.

appears in the Egyptian pantheon another deity with the same name, called Horus the Elder, was believed to be another son of Geb and Nut, Earth and Heaven, brother of Osiris, Isis, Set and Nephtys. Also depicted with the head of a hawk or hawk and the solar disk.

The young Horus is the son of Osiris and Isis. His two eyes were the sun and moon. In the myth, Seth, his uncle, becomes the antagonist and enemy of Horus, and the struggle for power in Egypt, Set and Horus wounds he loses his eye. Finally, the gods decide to give victory to Horus declared King of the land of his father and lord of Egypt. Horus is the rightful heir to the throne of Egypt. His cult was developed mainly in the town of Edfu.

In the earthly plane function corresponds to that of Pharaoh, who is considered under the title "son of the King." "Hakhte" one of their names, meaning "distant", meaning "messenger or intermediary of the divine mystery." It was also characterized as the Child Horus, or Harpókrates, in Greek, crushing scorpions and crocodiles with his feet as a symbol of magical protection that God offers against the forces of Chaos.

Harakty Horus is as Solar, Horus on the horizon, symbolizing the rise of the sun. Their energies are invoked to arouse the courage and overcoming fear. His energy is also a great healing of physical ailments. Also helps to focus and get a clear perspective, the ability to rise above of worldly difficulties and achieve the Vision.

BOLAÑOS

By Eduardo Garcia Aguilar

Angrama The publisher announced this week with much hype the release of a new novel by Roberto Bolaño, who joins his other posthumous works outings recent years, including the great tome 2666. Undoubtedly, as long as business, the Chilean poor will continue giving us surprises from beyond, the unknown and mysterious land where he lives and works alone, enslaved, without rest in peace, sitting on a cloud dress perhaps with a Greek chlamys.
I can already imagine the dead, desperate in their habitat celestial clouds could not get cigarettes or coffee or whiskey, spinning like crazy in the icy paths and cotton ebony, ranting at the sentencing terrible to have to write forever and can not retirement.
Bolaño was born in 1953 and belongs to a generation of Latin American writers Without Account, characterized by a large detachment terrestrial and literary rebellion against the powers, as has been crushed between the boom and blast of their kings Midas and the success of the new overflow born young bestsellers in the 60 and 70.
The editor and the widow, aided by the great actor nicknamed "The Jackal", will continue to write to Chile through the ouija one work per year, which were deposited by magic on the computer hard disk of the deceased or of hard copy in the form of mysterious, displayed on his desk before the astonished gaze of an Egyptian cat.
The new novel of the dead is called "The troubles of the real police," according to press reports that it "stars some characters" of his posthumous novel also 2666. The comedian adds that cable news writer's widow, Carolina López, found on the computer the writer of the work and says it is composed of several truncated and 50 texts and 100 pages mysterious and spotty. You found "partially typed text with electric typewriter and partly printed from a computer without a computer file" with the same title as the first text truncated "The troubles of the real police."
latter ghosted text, says the widow in the bizarre wire agency, is "a complete novel of 283 pages, classified into seven folders, five of which were in the author's desk, along with other related materials to 2666, while the other two parts were discovered by organizing his legacy. "
Cable reproduced by newspapers adds that "their stories and characters pass through other novels as Distant Star Bolano, phone calls, The Savage Detectives and 2666, which perhaps hidden center could be formed by this novel. They also share some of the characters, and Amalfitano, his daughter Rosa and Arcimboldi.
The great editor Jorge Herralde told the English news agency EFE that "reading of the novel persuades us that this is a work of extraordinary literary quality in the territory of 2666 and The Savage Detectives, ie the Bolaño in best way. " In the foreword of the book, the critic Juan Antonio Masoliver Ródenas says Woes real policeman, and 2666, is "an unfinished novel, but an unfinished novel, because what matters for its author is not complete but develop it."
The newspaper article says that the novel is about a widower who is forced to flee from Barcelona to the border between Mexico and the United States, where the magician Arcimboldi, a French writer whose work shows off the dead in new novel, and it displayed dozens of other bizarre characters and circus, which, according to the cable, and have appeared in other of his novels. To finish the stew
novel, the story adds that the work also includes the story of the making of a film about the life of Leopardi would be starring as actors Vila Matas writers, Vargas Losa, Camilo Jose Cela, Juan Goytisolo and Juan Marse. Thus it would result in the emergence of a new literary genre, the novel Frankenstein, a kind of pot-purri fact multiple and inconsistent pieces attached to the force and sewn in the operating room of the letters in the middle of a coven unsurpassed.
As we can see, the new work of the deceased is, if we believe the cable Efe, a true "cock sucking" as we say the Colombians, or to be more explicit, a perfect package of Chile ", a futuristic concrete of magical realism that would blush with rage at the same late Bolaño, ghostly silent despair unable to protest from eternity against the mischief of his widow and literary publishers.

The famous Egyptian palettes used, originally, to grind and mix ingredients for cosmetics or perhaps some medical remedies. However, in all likelihood, they lost this function, becoming the object not only ornamental but also commemorative ceremonies. We show some of the most significant, in that we make some very brief comments, and interpret, in greater depth three in the following entries: Tehenu palette, the Oxford and called del Toro.
Images: HUNTER SHOULDER hippos, Geerzense period, Medelhavsmuseet today in Stockholm. The chronology was established between 4000 and 3500 anE PALETTE OF DOGS. Is now in the Louvre Museum. We see the presence of various quadrupeds, perhaps hyenas and giraffes. Phase also corresponds to the Nagada III. PALETTE OF HUNTERS. We note the presence of hunters carrying bows, spears and axes. It symbolizes the victory of the high over Lower Egypt, and the imposition of universal order (maat), on the disorder (ani). Belongs to the Nagada III period.

SURPRISE BEYOND REVOLUTION IN TUNISIA

By Eduardo Garcia Aguilar
The year 2011 began with an unexpected revolution in Tunisia, where the youth rebelled against the regime and after weeks of demonstrations, clashes and riots forced the dictator Ben Ali to flee on Friday night on a plane out of the country that managed with an iron fist for 23 years, with the tacit support of the West.
Countries Western democratic and large companies are always looking the other way to do business and exploit mineral resources in these lawless countries where labor is worth nothing, as in China today admired, whose regime seudocomunista has become a world power thanks to poverty wages and militarization totalitarian production.
The Maghreb is a Mediterranean made by Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya and Mauritania, which was a Roman colony for thousands of years as witnessed by the ruins and until recently the backyard of France, whose colonial atrocities to unnamed Over the centuries and until the 60 of the last century still generate controversy and embarrassment in the metropolis birthplace of the Declaration of Human Rights.
Morocco is now a medieval monarchy with an iron fist managed by Mohamed VI and dominated by a breed of young tycoons oriental tale that thrive in the court of the many palaces of a king as authoritarian and gloomy as was his father Hassan II, the dreaded king of the dungeons. Ever
I spent a month there and I saw with my own eyes in horror that the total population suffocation at the hands of the secret police and security forces and the total domination of the privileged caste who live in palaces of stories fairies, while the population travels in Fes, Tangier, Rabat and Casablanca street living in misery away. In just a huge literary adviser I saw them untouchable regime Hassan II and Mohammed VI's tutor, whom they all crouched revered and honored.
Algeria, where there have been recent riots and protests, is governed by the already declining Bouteflika and lives under the thumb of a corrupt millionaires that creep in the areas of power while the population is unemployed and the slightest opportunity. Democracy did not work there when the imams Islamists won the polls, so in the background boiled in the deserts that other terrible side of the coin, violence and intolerance Islamic fanatics of the leaders. Needless
that of Libya, ruled by the king of the dark Kadhafi Mohamed, now forgiven by the West after having committed countless crimes, including the famous plane shot down over Lockerbie, whose children millionaires and shameless predators of the exchequer, are subject to frequent when scandal travel to their king Midas withdrawals in Switzerland or walk with Austrian far-right leaders. No one can lift a finger there to the tyrant who has operated his face dozens of times to win the secrets of eternal youth possible.
Every time this individual, the idol of certain totalitarian left, go on a trip with their court of millionaires and Amazons, act insolently, install their tents in Historical capitals and get the permission of the greedy Western democratic leaders, eager to sign lucrative contracts to extract mineral resources Libyan or sell arms, aircraft and technology.
All of them, like the elegant Ben Ali, have managed to hold off until now fans of Mohammed and al-Qaida and that Western powers have been tolerant. But now the region is a tinderbox, with a majority urban youth that through internet abirió eyes to the freedoms of the world and decides to join in protest, as happened in Iran last year with protests against electoral fraud Admajinedad Mahmud.
After fall of the French colonial power, and Italian in the case of Libya, these countries have lived under the boot of dark regimes as helots, slaves or indentured servants, the inhabitants have passed the century on the ruins of its past and pits common left by the cruel colonial armies or secret police indigenous.
not know what will happen now, because if these schemes collapse will soon leave their burrows to attack the soldiers of Allah, which are even more obscurantist and terrible. Nobody would have thought that in the XXI century the world would be no alternative dominated by dictatorships of all pelts, as if regesarámos to biblical times of the great ancient empires theocratic, where no one moved a hair without the permission of the pharaoh and ruled the gallows, the pyres, stoning and an eye for an eye and tooth for tooth.

What Not To Do After Getting A Brazillian Wax

Plagiarism ONE OF INTERVIEW WITH FINE ARTS

By Eduardo Garcia Aguilar

Patrick Poivre d'Arvor is a national institution in France, for over a quarter of a century was the most powerful news presenter of the largest television channel TF1. Throughout much of his image in modern history came every night without fail to homes to bring good news or bad news. Presidents, ministers, artists, businessmen, religious, criminals, athletes, actors and all the inhabitants of the country, powerful or miserable, they surrendered at his feet as the pope media was from the days before cable and internet in the remote seventies.

Until this week, when he found that his new biography of Ernest Hemingway, impeccably edited and released by a major publisher as the best seller of the winter season, was plagiarized from one written by an Anglo author dead , this time a serious researcher who spent years burning itself eyelashes. The sad thing is that accuse him of plagiarism, but he had not seen that manucrito he wrote as always his faithful collaborators, or to be more direct, one of his ghost writers, writers 'black' or whatever who call them books written in secret stars, politicians and famous writers and tired.

undoubtedly intelligent, educated and polite, her figure was safe and seemed immune to three years ago, the day he dared to mock in an interview the new president, suggesting that a man acted like immature and child to the office and seemed to play with him as a child does with his toys, in which almost all observers agree.

Misfortune soon fall. From the Elysee palace came the angry order and Poivre d'Arvor was removed from office, which seemed immovable, and the worst is that nobody told you before and learned the terrible news in the press, while attending a game of tennis at Roland Garros Stadium, accompanied by a lady.

This has been one of the most chilling of Shakespearean defenestrations local media universe and his henchmen, the owners of the channel TF1, millionaire playboy close friends of President complied with the order and put in place a beautiful admired by the president. Now with this scandal, Sarkozy's friends will no doubt the final blow to the idol of clay that fell on his own petard.

depressive

After months away from the antenna, followed his career with dignity and returned to the television scene gradually smaller chains, practicing criticism, claiming his honor and dedicated to personal weakness, love literature. But now Poivre d'Arvor has received the coup de grace victim of his weaknesses and that terrible feeling of impunity in the media stars who live surrounded by people who cut and makes them work. All the press have fallen into because of fraud, which means his biography of Hemingway and was revealed in great detail by the magazine L'Express.

Probabalemente passion has written some of his earlier books and maybe I can write yet, but success is tempting and in full swing as the country's most famous man published every year three, four or five of his books that came out, one after another, novels, essays, testimonies, biographies, sold in an instant like hot cakes, purchased by millions of housewives girlfriends and admirers across the country. She even came to be named as a finalist for the major literary prizes this year, the Goncourt and Renaudot. With 63 books to his credit, had become a veritable gold mine editorial.

And while living in the lie that all these 63 works were his, the truth is that most, if not all, were produced by ghost writers, ghostwriters or "black" professionals of the publishing company, while He spent the day in newsrooms and television studios, at receptions and trips or walking with his many girlfriends, one of which was apparently the very Lady Di. Poivre d'Arvor ended up believing he was a writer, and even a great writer. At the end of the day he left one of his works around the world praised it and the newspapers and magazines took pains críticas.Y do the best as he continues and will continue to trap dozens of famous writers.

The scandal revealed the corruption of the publishing world scenes, which has misled the poor readers in the second half of the twentieth century and continues to do more brazen in the XXI century. Honorable exceptions, the authors of today are trademarks, including Nobel Prize sacrosanct, such as English Camilo Jose Cela, plagiarized the novel which won the Planeta prize very corrupt. You can become a famous writer and Nobel Prize-winning and without writing the books. Just enough to be a media figure. That is the cruel reality that ignore the innocent readers.

Ancient History of Cambodia: The Khmer kingdom

Illustrated view general reliefs of Angkor Wat and Bayon Temple, Angkor Thom, Cambodia.

From Chinese testimonies of the Three Kingdoms period, in the third century, we know of the presence in the Mekong Delta without borders established political units, bringing together people vassals or dependents should be accountable to a village leader, known as mandala. Relatively well known mandala of Funan and Angkor Chenla. The first was an important trading center it had contact with the Indian subcontinent, where the devotionism proceeded to Vishnu and Shiva Hinduism, Buddhism and the use of Sanskrit. In the sixth century, and until the eighth, the mandala of Chenla the center of power moved into the territory. At this time, still deep exchanges with India, highlighted the King Jayavarman I. In the early ninth century, the king Jayavarman II reunified the kingdom Chenla anarchy and carries out the conquest of certain territories to set up the Khmer kingdom or empire, establishing his court and capital in the Angkor area, in an area called in the language Khmer Tonle Sap or Great Lake, very suitable for fishing and rice cultivation. The new monarchy of Angkor, which is closely linked with Shiva had its period of greatest prominence in the twelfth century, at which time King Suryavarman II (1113-1150), annexed territories Thailand and Laos, and it built around 1140, the temple walls of Angkor Wat. With Jayavarman VII, the first Buddhist monarchs in the region, who reigned from 1180 to 1218, founded the magnificent Angkor Thom, after the sack by Champa (kingdom that lived in the central Vietnam), and prompted the need to change the based court. In the late thirteenth century, Angkor testimonies are becoming scarcer and building activity is interrupted in the capital. The beginning of the decline, perhaps motivated largely by inheritance conflicts and wars against other nearby mandalas (Dvaravati, Sukhothai, Ayuthaya), was consummated during the first third of the next century. By 1431 the army Ayuthaya, a kingdom that had its territory in what is now Thailand, sacked the capital and from that moment, the magnificent and legendary Angkor Thom, which had more than one hundred thousand inhabitants and is the main benchmark for outstanding urban society, was abandoned forever.

How Much Do Hor Dourves Cost At A Wedding

EDUARDO GARCIA AGUILAR. BY JORGE CONSUEGRA. Letrasylibros.com (2006)

By Jorge Consuegra

1. At what age did you wrote the first story?

I wrote at age 13, in third year of high school, and titled "The secrets of hell." A young reporter went to the depths of hell in the Siberian city of Yakutia, Russia, to interview the devil. I sent a story contest and won Intercollegiate. Then came the awards ceremony before hundreds of students and went to stand among the apalusos. The rector gave me the prize: a Hemingway book with several stories, including "The Snows of Kilimanjaro." It was an unforgettable moment, for there is nothing better than a teen writer: literature there lives its chemically pure state. Is infinite sleep against the cliffs. And it gave me the opportunity to experience the work of Ernest Hemingway, whose books "The Old Man and the Sea" and "A Moveable Feast" I love them.

2. What was the issue?

A rookie journalist and fearless interview is going to hell for the devil and comes to the surface in the city Siberia's Yakutia. No doubt there were influences of Mephisto's "Faust" by Goethe, who had just read in the junior edition of Soper, and the story "In the right hand of God" Thomas Carrasquilla, one of my favorite Colombian writers. In the end the character his interview published in Time and Life magazines, is known throughout the world for the premiere and after the success is about to find somewhere in the world to interview Jesus Christ.

3. What became of that story?

I keep the original with some notes in red ink a literature teacher at the Institute College, I remember, was a man very tall and thin, quixotic. Besides my father, who loved literature and was surrounded by dictionaries, I had very good teachers of letters. Were those who defended me in school authorities and teachers of mathematics, physics and chemistry that I felt unsafe and did everything to annihilate. For them, a boy who dreams of becoming a writer and not an engineer, military, lawyer or doctor is very dangerous to society.

4. When did you know you were going to be a writer?

No doubt the day when I went to receive the award. I liked the sudden and ephemeral sense of literary success. On the way home from school to award the book in hand floated with emotion and pride. I came home and told my father the news. We welcome families. That day I have very clear, was a revelation. Since then unemployment. The teenager from that day is here. " The status of adolescent writer is wonderful and disturbing. We must remain faithful, do not betray.

5. How did the first book?

The first book published as such was "Book of Dreams", a small collection of stories, published in Mexico by Editorial El Tucan Virginia, in 1981, after winning the prize for short story "The other editors." But the first book for me was the short novel "Land of Lions", 1983, a more complex book, which would be the first completed after much work and doubts. However, do not forget that before the teenager's school wrote several books which fortunately never published. I myself bound and distributed to friends, who in turn wrote and bound books filled with poems cursed.

6. What were these books?

The first "book" that stage of "literary archeology" staff would be a short little novel I wrote at age 14 called "The Castle of Anthony Jeffes," written with the stylus green my grandmother in a blue check book and no doubt was influenced by "Portrait Dorian Grey "and horror novels. Then I wrote two or three collections of poems, existentialist, terrible, scatological, to slash their wrists or jump into jump Tequendama. The Nadaísta were fashionable at the time in Colombia and all wanted to be Rimbaud. There were also a poet rocker in Manizales 20, Wadis Echeverri Correa, who organized readings and poetically stirred the city. Those were the days "In a Gadda Da Vida" by Iron Butterfly and "Satisfaction" by the Rolling Stones, the wonderful times of the International Theatre Festival which brought Neruda, Asturias, Grotowski, Sabato, among many others. But that stage of the school, as "serious" was a collection of poems Nerudian I worked with more intensity when I was in sixth high school, at age 17. There are achievements, but too much influence Neruda and Latin Americanism in vogue at that time , which emphasized the pre-Hispanic, popular revolutions, the people. Anyway, these books were written with total dedication and intensity. I repeat: there is no more pure than a young writer.

7. Then what happened?

After two years I lived in Bogotá and studied at the National University, before leaving for France. In this environment, I established the basic contact with the national literature. Over there in 1973 I met fellow Truque generational as Sonia and Juan Carlos Moyano, among others, we read our texts in the shop Arturo Alape Red Dot and Isaiah Peña Gutiérrez. There were parties at the house of Rosita phenomenal and Jaime Jaramillo Echeverry, who had just arrived from Argentina and modern contribution to the literature of Colombia. The unforgettable parties were in Torres' apartment in Beijing, where he has always lived Germain Espinosa.

8 - "And when you went to Colombia?

I went in February 1974. The National University was closed, the political environment was terrible. In France I just turned 20 years and there I made my college, loved, drank, went to movies, I went and read a lot. He was a formative stage. Much more to write and enjoy reading French literature, which is inexhaustible. Days and weeks reading and raving about Stendhal, Balzac, Flaubert, Proust ... Madrugábamos to listen to Michel Foucault and Roland Barthes in the College of France. After France I went to California, Los Angeles and San Francisco, where I discovered a year and "Lolita" by Nabokov. " One day I took a plane from San Francisco and came to Mexico like writing in the press the country and publish my books. In the novel writing there "Land of Lions", influenced by "Lolita," followed by "Heroes Boulevard" and "triumphant trip, which are part of a trilogy. But with the weight of García Márquez and "boom" up crushing you as Marble Mountains, it was very difficult to write. The example and the level of "One Hundred Years of Solitude" and "Hopscotch" were very high as an ant to take the bill of a novel. In addition there were Borges, Rulfo, Cortázar, Onetti, Fuentes, Lezama Lima, Alejo Carpentier, alive and kicking ....

9. How was the life of all the books?

I owe everything to our Mexican friends. Since 1980 they opened me the doors of the newspapers, I published all the books, always answered many critical texts published in the cultural sections of newspapers and magazines, and made the party in each presentation. In fact recently my last book "Animal no time in Mexico and there was a great party at the home of Santiago Espinosa de los Monteros, Colonia Roma. I grew as a writer among the Mexican people of my generation, which has brilliant authors, intellectuals solid polygraphs are not only behind the best-seller and easy success. They have been my friends and partners. When passing through Paris always see and talk about the ocean that is the Mexican literature of which I have learned so much. I think ultimately I am a Mexican. Do not know how to thank them the attention and the complicity of literature. Now, I am also grateful to France for a life here. Here I did my university studies and work. Paris is a city I love. But in terms my books, I owe everything to Mexico and Mexicans.

10. What book are you graduated from a writer?

I "graduated" as a writer in Mexico with the three novels of the trilogy consisting of "Land of Lions", "Boulevard of Heroes" and "The triumphal tour." "Boulevard of Heroes" and left the U.S. in English with a foreword by Gregory Rabassa. "The triumphal tour" is translated into English and Bengali in Calcutta. Then I published a fourth novel in Mexico, "Tequila coccyx, also unprecedented in Colombia, which is a tribute to the city where I lived many years, the Federal District, and their literature, in this world of cinema of the golden age, surrealism, Tamara de Lempicka, canteens, Maria Felix, Tongolele, Ninon Sevilla, Cantinflas, Agustín Lara and Damaso Perez Prado, known "king of mambo." Each book is a very strong challenge and therefore I believe that one must "graduate" with every book ever written. One does not graduate as a writer ever. It's like the myth of Sisyphus.

11. What Paris has meant for Latin American writers?

is a strong relationship that dates back over two centuries. First writers and heroes of independence, romantic, who passed through here and share their lives with the French. Then the whole XIX century and at the end of the century, modernist authors led by Rubén Darío who adored Paris and late-century French literature. In our case Wikisource trained in Paris and both his novel "desktop" as his poetry is influenced by the symbolist writers and fin de siecle. Throughout the twentieth century that friendship was even more intense. All generation of the 20 and 30, with César Vallejo, Miguel Angel Asturias, Alfonso Reyes, Alejo Carpentier and many built bridges that are still alive and opened the doors to the spectacular success of the "boom" in Latin America that Cortázar, Vargas Llosa and García Márquez lived intensely the 50's, postwar existentialism and cultural liberation of the 60's. Now we are many Latin Americans here, but no group is experiencing the splendor of the three generations mentioned above: that of Ruben Dario, and Asturias of Vallejo and Julio Cortázar. The world is now much more modern world there are many centers that are experiencing new interest in strong interaction. Paris is not the myth or the place needed was in the nineteenth and the twentieth. Now is the web. We are linked by blogs. In fact mine is http://www.egarciaguilar.blogspot.com/
