Is depicted as a falcon-headed man, crowned with the solar disk and the snake Uraeus.
In the Old Kingdom Pharaoh was considered the son of Ra. His cult originated in the city of On, which the Greeks called Heliopolis, located in the current Matariya district in Cairo.
This great God incorporated aspects of other minor gods, including Uadjet, the cobra, which represents the Eye of Ra and that was part of Pharaonic symbols. It is also related as stated, with God Khephra or rising sun, symbolized by the scarab. And with Aton or Atum, which symbolizes the sun.
Amon
Its name means "that which is hidden." It is the invisible God, the myth Hermopolitan. From the Middle Kingdom began their worship in the city of Thebes, as the Supreme Creator. In the New Kingdom reached its peak. He is represented in different ways, the most common is in human form wearing a tiara made of two large pens (and is represented as the father of the Pharaohs), wearing linen tunic, a breastplate and other jewelry. Other ways to depict him sitting on the throne with a frog's head and body of a man or snake's head, like a monkey or a lion. On the back hangs a tail, linking it with very primitive myths. It can also lead ram's horns, which is his symbolic animal.
God is the Creator in the Theban cycle. Represents the concept of God Universal. He was known as Amun-Ra. Also they called the unknown god, a god secret, the Lord of the Mysteries that embodies the elemental life force that is hidden. Assimilated to other gods, for example, Re (or Ra), Atum, Min, or Amun-Ra-Horakty (the latter joining his power of Horus). At Thebes chairs the Divine Triad with the Goddess Mut and Khonsu God.
In magic qualities of these three gods are used for power, authority and leadership. Amon especially to develop hidden talents.
