Nidaba or Nissan (Nanibgal) was the name of a Sumerian goddess writing and grain, daughter of An or Anu, god of heaven, and an Assyrian deity of astrology. He was beloved, especially by the Sumerian scribes. She is represented with the billowing hair and wearing a tiara with a crescent between horns, it was associated with the harvest.
