How To Dismantle A Computer Chair

III Ancient deities of Mesopotamia: Ishtar, Shamash, Ea

The image is of a cylinder-seal of the Sumerian period "Akkadian, in which they appear, from left to right, a lion or perhaps a tap with a bird's head, symbol of the goddess Ishtar (Inanna, goddess of fertility and nature, associated with Venus), the god Sin (moon god and night, born in the underworld, and tutelary deity of Ur), a likely tree of life Inanna with the fruit of that tree, Utu-Shamash (sun god of justice and Akkadian) with a knife out from below, a bird and a goat, symbol of Ea, in addition to the flow of water with fish; Ea (Akkadian) - Enki (god of water and, therefore, fertility and wisdom, guardian of me, order, the basic attribute of civilization), which seems to flow the said aqueous stream and, finally, a bifacial god, named Usimud, which performs the functions of advocate with the various gods. In the upper left corner shows the name of the owner, Adda, a scribe. The seal is dated between 2300 and 2200 BC, and is currently in the British Museum in London.
